All of the fifteen hours are allowed from home study. One hour of ethics in occupational therapy is required every other year, and due odd years.

The main reason for continuing education is to ensure the highest possible standards for the occupational therapist profession. All licensees are required to participate in continuing education as a licensing requirement.
