Paula Hartman-Stein, PhD, a clinical psychologist, consultant, and Medicare correspondent for The National Psychologist newspaper, was the Chair of the first psychology and social work Expert Work Group to develop quality measures. Currently she serves on the expert panel for the Elder Maltreatment screen. Dr. Hartman-Stein graduated from Kent State University and obtained the interdisciplinary geriatric clinical development award through Case Western University. For over 20 years she has worked at the Center for Healthy Aging, a private practice in Kent, Ohio.
