Helen Hinton, MEd, LPCC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience in community mental health, serving as a program manager, clinical supervisor, and clinician for child and family school-based services, She obtained a Master of Education in Elementary School Guidance Counseling from The Citadel and received her undergraduate degree from Clemson University. With a passion for learning and research, Helen has developed online continuing education courses on a wide range of topics, including trauma-informed systems of care, gender, and sexual identity issues, substances use disorder, motivational enhancement therapy, racial and ethnocultural responsiveness, behavioral health disparities among LGBTQ+, and suicide prevention.
