Douglas Guiffrida, PhD
About the Author
Douglas Guiffrida, PhD is an Associate Professor in the Department of Counseling and Human Development and Director of Accreditation and Program Implementation at the University of Rochester, Warner Graduate School of Education and Human Development. He is an Approved Clinical Supervisor, a Nationally Certified Counselor, and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York State. He has nearly 20 years of clinical supervision experience and has taught a doctoral-level class in clinical supervision since 2000. Guiffrida has served as associate editor for best practices for the Journal of Counseling Development, senior associate editor for the Journal of College Counseling, and as a reviewer and editorial board member for several other scholarly publications.
