Linda Wilmshurst, PhD, ABPP
About the Author
Linda Wilmshurst, PhD, ABPP received her BA and MA in Psychology from the University of Windsor and her Ph.D. from the University of Toronto. Linda is a Diplomate in Clinical Psychology (ABPP) and is a Registered Psychologist and School Psychologist in North Carolina. Linda is an Associate Professor in the Psychology Department at Elon University, where she teaches courses in child and adult psychopathology, developmental psychology, psychology in the schools and introductory psychology; supervises student internships, and mentors undergraduate research, primarily in areas related to resiliency, self perceptions and well being in college students with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Linda has authored a number of text books, including: Abnormal Child Psychology: A Developmental Perspective; Essentials of Child Psychopathology.
