About the Author
Mary O. Cummins, MSN, CRNP, CHPN, is a Registered Nurse Practitioner with a Certification in Family Practice. She is also Hospice and Palliative Care Certified. Her practice career includes 10 years in nursing which includes two years in rural health family practice in South Alabama and the past three years as the Director of Educational Services for a local hospice. Mary has written and taught several training modules that include Corporate Compliance, Survey Compliance Issues, Corporate Growth and Expansion Plans. She is now the CEO of Palliative Care Consulting where she writes and promotes self-study modules for independent on-line continuing education.
