Arkansas Psychology Board
CE Required: 20 hours per year
Online CE Allowed: No limit - but "shall not be exclusively by home study or online means"
License Expiration: 6/30, annually
National Accreditation Accepted: APA
Notes: 3-hours ethics required each renewal

Arkansas BOE in Counseling & MFT
CE Required: 24 every 2 years

License Expiration: 5/31, biennially
National Accreditation Accepted: NBCC
Notes: 3 hrs ethics required each renewal; 21 of 24 hours must support the licensees statement of intent; 6 hours supervision, of which 3 must be from Board recognized state associations or an Arkansas university associated workshop or program

National Accreditation Accepted: All continuing education hours must be in compliance with continuing professional education activities approved by CDR.

Arkansas State Department of Education
Requires 36 contact hours every year for all holding an educator license including the School Psychology Specialist. School Psychology Specialists are not permitted to practice in any other arena other than the schools, and may not refer to themselves as "school psychologists". Individuals at the doctoral level may become licensed through the Arkansas Board of Psychology, at which point they may refer to themselves "school psychologists".
