Notes: 6 hours in suicide prevention required every 6 years, 3 hours in ethical practice or risk management required each renewal, 3 hours in supervision required each renewal for supervisors

Counselors
Kentucky Board of Licensed Professional Counselors
CE Required: 10 hours per year
Online CE Allowed: No limit
License Expiration: 10/31, annually
National Accreditation Accepted: NBCC, APA
Notes: A minimum of six (6) hours of continuing education in suicide prevention (assessment, treatment, and management) are required every six (6) years. A minimum of three (3) hours of continuing education in domestic violence are required within three (3) years of initial licensure.

Kentucky Board of Speech Language Pathology & Audiology

Kentucky Education Professional Standards Board (EPSB)
Kentucky school psychologists are credentialed by the Education Professional Standards Board (EPSB). Certification is based on graduate education, internship, and examination. The standard school psychology certificate is issued for five years. During this time, school psychologists are expected to do 72 hours of professional development or pursue six semester hours of academic coursework. They are also expected to practice at least three years during the renewal cycle (http://www.lrc.state.ky.us/kar/016/002/090.htm).
