About Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapists are regulated in all 50 states and certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, Inc. (NBCOT). The American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) is the arm that regulates continuing education for occupational therapists. In most states, occupational therapists are required to complete a designated number of accredited continuing education units. Professional Development Resources is an AOTA-Approved Provider of continuing education for occupational therapists.
