Texas : Continuing Education Information

CE Broker

Effective January 1, 2026, all Texas-licensed psychologists, counselors, social workers, and marriage & family therapists (MFTs) are required to use CE Broker for tracking and reporting CE. Learn more at https://bhec.texas.gov/continuingeducation/.

Professional Development Resources, Inc. (PDR) is a registered provider with CE Broker (#50-1635) and has been since 2004. All completions are reported within 24 hours. PDR began reporting to CE Broker for Texas licensees in August of 2025.

Human Trafficking Training Requirement

Health care practitioners required to complete a human trafficking course for licensure renewal must complete a course from the list of HHS-Approved Human Trafficking Courses for Health Care Practitioners. PDR’s course is not approved (we have tried by HHSC can’t be bothered to approve it).

An LPC Supervisor must complete 6 hours of continuing education in supervision during his or her renewal period to maintain supervisory status.
