Karin Kratina, PhD, RD, LD/N, is a nutrition therapist, speaker and writer who has specialized in helping those with eating problems since 1983. She has written numerous professional books, book chapters and articles. In fact, she has been invited to present at all the major eating disorder conferences numerous times.

Additionally she is trained in Somatic Experiencing (Level Two) and is a certified Enneagram teacher. Her PhD research analyzed unconscious thinking and how that thinking influenced eating and weight struggles. Her focus was on "decoding" these struggles to reveal what was going on at the unconscious level. This exciting research has strongly influenced her approach to eating and weight issues. Michelle Albers, PhD, RD, LD/N, has a PhD in Nutrition from Ohio State University and is a Registered Dietitian. She has taught nutrition at Ohio State and the University of South Florida, authored articles and book chapters, and presents national medical continuing education seminars. Since 1988, in her private practices in Tampa and St Petersburg, she has worked exclusively with clients with disordered eating and eating disorders. She has been part of the Healthy Weight Clinic at USF since 2007.
